Exploring the External Features of the Panther 5N NIV Ventilator

When it comes to non-invasive ventilation, performance matters, but so does design. The Panther 5N dedicated NIV Ventilator is built with both in mind, offering a thoughtful layout and interface that support efficient workflows and reliable operation in high-acuity environments. From setup to long-term monitoring, the Panther 5N’s physical design supports fast intervention and seamless connectivity.

Designed for Accessibility and Control

The front panel is prioritized for accessibility and quick control. The P5N features a prominent alarm indicator at the top of the display for immediate visual alerts, ensuring clear awareness at a glance. A tactile control knob at the bottom of the device allows for quick setting adjustments, while clearly marked outlets for inspiratory flow and nebulization simplify the setup. The exhalation flow control valve is also conveniently positioned on the front of the device.

Built for Performance Behind the Scenes

The rear of the device houses the essential components that keep the ventilator running smoothly and safely. A built-in battery compartment provides up to three hours of untethered power. Also on the back, you will find a 50 PSI connection, a cooling fan inlet, and a high-visibility on/off button.

Flexible Monitoring and Connectivity

The side panels of the P5N expand its capabilities through a wide range of ports and connections. Respiratory therapists can integrate essential monitoring tools such as CO₂ and SpO₂, or EMR systems via RS232 adapter for automated documentation. Additionally, the P5N supports advanced aerosol therapy through a dedicated Aerogen port. While a galvanic CO₂ comes standard, the device offers the flexibility to upgrade to a paramagnetic sensor.

A Thoughtfully Engineered Solution

The Panther 5N is more than just a collection of features; it is a thoughtfully engineered solution designed for efficient setup and dependable operation. Its physical design directly complements its advanced ventilation capabilities, making it a versatile and reliable choice for facilities treating a wide range of patients, from neonates to adults.
